The Marina Community Association is dedicated to protecting and improving the distinctive residential quality of San Francisco’s Marina District. We are a volunteer organization that actively participates with government and other civic agencies for the betterment of our community.

The Marina Community Association is a registered California corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(4) non-profit. It operates under corporate bylaws which require a Board of Directors to be elected each year by vote of the Active members; the Board then elects corporate officers. Marina Community Association activities are coordinated through committees made up of both Board and non-Board members. All members are encouraged to participate. The Board typically meets the first Monday of every month, email info@sfmca.org for more information.

The 2010 Board expresses its gratitude to members of the interim board (2006) without whom the Marina Community Association would never have gotten off the ground. In particular, we want to thank: Ned Barrett, Sue Chang, Kit Haskell, Lisa Ligon, Nancy Nichols, Erin Roach, Eliott Robbins, and Carina Sabharwal.
